A Country Tea Party - BOM

After visiting The Quilters Angel Toowoomba to pick up my monthly BOM Grandmothers Tea Party - I noticed outside of the shop they had a sample of Libby Richardson's new BOM A Country Tea Party and my eyes lit up.  Fabrics are Tilda's new range and stitched using Cottage Garden Threads and DMC threads.  It is so beautiful - so I signed up.

With the first installment I received fabric to complete the stitchedry and Cottage Garden Threads pack.  I haven't got all the DMC threads so I have to go to my local patchwork shop to get them.

I cannot wait to get started.

Grandmothers Tea Party - Update

Today I am sharing with you block 1 of Grandmothers Tea Party which is now complete.
This beautiful BOM program is by Brandy Gully Patchwork, and uses quilt as you go method.  I had so much fun putting this block together.  Tilda fabric is so beautiful to work with and is my favourite fabric.  I cannot wait to get started putting together block 2.

I'm doing so may BOM's at the moment and this is another - Grandmothers Tea Party by Brandy Gully Patchwork.  I collect this monthly from The Quilters Angel Toowoomba and in the pack I get the pre-printed design on white fabric, and Tilda fabric to complete the whole block.  This pattern uses Quilt As You Go method and stitched using Cosmo thread.

So far I have completed stitching blocks 1 to 4.  I'm still in the middle of stitching block 5 which is my favourite so far and block 6 is waiting to be stitched.

United Stitches BOM

I'm a little bit excited to be sharing with you today some finished blocks of Rosalie Quinlans United Stitches BOM that I'm currently doing.
The original colour scheme was fabrics by Rosalie Quinaln called Chirpy Lola and stitched using Cosmo Threads.
I'm doing mine different from Rosalies version.  My fabrics are Tilda's new range Apple Bloom & Spring Lake, stitching using Cottage Garden Threads and I'm doing 2 rounds of 1.5" strips around my stitcheries.  I have completed blocks 1 to 8.  I love stitching these little blocks - they whip up quickly.
